アンジェラ先生ありがとうございました！

３年間の任期を終えて帰国されたアンジェラ先生のお別れのスピーチです。

Hello, everyone,

Hopefully this isn't a surprise, but I will be leaving Japan and moving back to America on July 30th.  Although I am excited for this move, I am also very sad to leave Oda and Ohda High School.  I've had the pleasure to live and teach here for three amazing years, and I am not really ready to leave.  I really wish I could stay longer with all of you.

When I first came here, I was very nervous.  I didn't know what to do, but the teachers were really kind and patient.  I learned how to be a teacher, and I learned what it felt like to be a part of a wonderful community.  One of the best things about being here is interacting with all of you every day.  You make me smile and make each day incredible.  I look forward to walking through the doors and seeing all of you.  Talking to everyone makes my heart happy.  I will cherish these memories forever and I know they will help me when I think of the people I have left behind here in Oda.

You are the best thing that has happened to me and I am eternally grateful.  I have made so many friends here, and I love all of you so much.  I hope that you'll never forget me, because I know I will never forget any of you.
